The Journey Really Begins

After almost 5 months since its inception Call4Backup has reached its first real milestone. Today we officially became charity registered in England and Wales with the Charities Commission. This is such a big step and now opens the doorway to so much more that Call4Backup can do for all those colleagues on the front line of policing.

Mad Muddy Marathon

On 16th May 2015, Former Essex Police Constable, Liam Harvey, took part in a messy, muddy Marathon through an obstacle course in Brentwood, Essex raising money for Call4Backup while he did it.

Support of Kevin Szabo

We launched the “Support Kevin Szabo” campaign after we had money donated to us followed by a message asking for the funds to be donated to Kevin himself, then we thought it would be nice to set up a page so that people who wanted to support Kevin in his recovery could.

The new shop is now up and running and selling Wristbands and Lapel Pins at £1 and Lanyards at £2. The initial purchases have surpassed all expectations with over 50 units shifting in the first 24hrs.
