There are many ways in which you can help us fund our future and make sure that the support services are available to all police personnel as and when they need it. Not all of these mean that you have to run a marathon, cycle a bike or set up a big event.
Below are a few ideas of ways that you could donate money to Call4Backup, some of which cost you no money at all, just a little extra time and some are so easy that all you need to do is log in and click a button to get us money.
easyfundraising.org.uk is a great way to raise money for the charity just by shopping online at stores like ebay, Amazon, Play.com, Tesco and Argos.
You don’t pay anything extra all the donations are raised by commission from the companies. So far easyfundraising has raised over £9 million for causes throughout the UK.
All it requires is an email address and name during sign up, select Call4Backup as the charity you are raising for and then there is only 3 steps to securing the donations for the charity.
- When you want to buy something online, go to easyfundraising.org.uk and find the online store you want to shop at.
- Browse the store as you would from your normal browser and complete your purchase
- When your purchase is complete Call4Backup will receive a donation from the company you purchased from!
Simple, Fast and FREE!!
If you want to give a little to the Charity on a regular basis then why not look into donating via Charities Aid Foundation – Give as you Earn.
This is a process available to anyone. All you need to do it complete a simple form at the CAF website, available by clicking the image to the right, and filling in a simple form to hand to your employer.
This way of giving means you wont pay tax on any donations to the charity meaning you can give the same amount but the charity gets much more as the taxman makes up the difference!
You can still donate money yourself, via our Paypal fund which you can use, even if you don’t have a Paypal account.
You can also set up a monthly direct debit to donate on a regular basis.
At the end of the donation you will be asked to sign a giftaid declaration which allows us to collect a further 25% on your donation from the government!
