Some Things Change
You may have seen some changes to the website recently and I'm sure as time goes on more changes will happen. The reason for the recent changes to a box style site is purely and simply to make it easier to view in all browser types. It makes scripting the site much quicker, faster and sleeker looking for me too.
There have been some other changes following our first AGM so we will start with them. We have put a hold on all the support channels at the moment as we are looking into qualifications for those Support Agents who field contact from our service users. This is both good for the Support Agents, as they will get a recognised qualification in Mental Health Studies at no cost to themselves and good for the service users as they get a qualified agent who answers the phone to them. We are still looking at a Spring 2015 launch date if all goes well.
Some things that remain the same and are still our key focused tasks at the moment are getting the bank account for the organisation as we need this in order to push for charity status. The account should be open by the middle of April and then the application to the charities commission goes in straight after with the view that we should have a charity number by May 2015.
We are constantly looking forward and moving the organisation onto better things and hopefully in a couple of months we will be a fully operating charity.
