Great Bristol Half Marathon
The Great Bristol Half Marathon was first held in 1989 as the Bristol Half Marathon and is now part of the Great Run series.
The course will take runners under the iconic Clifton Suspension Bridge with spectacular views along the Avon Gorge and Bristol Harbourside before entering the city centre.

How to get a place
Charity place:
If you want to run on behalf of our charity, there is a minimum fundraising target of £150. You can apply to join the ballot to be selected for a charity place by clicking the link below and filling out an application form.
Own place:
If you have secured your own place through the Simplyhealth Great Bristol Half Marathon website or your running club, we would be delighted to have you join our team and receive all the benefits of a charity place runner. An own place is a place that you have bought from the race organisers yourself or been lucky in a ballot or from your running club. This is not a charity confirmed place but we would love to have you join our team. Please click here to join Team C4B at this event and register your own place with us.
