Event Coordinator

As a Police Peer Support Charity, we will often be invited to attend a number of events at police stations all over the country. As such we require Event Coordinators to attend and deliver the charities message to attendees.

This will include discussing the charities aims and objectives as well as offering promotional material to those wanting more information. You will provided with the promotional material, banners, table cloth and direction for each event.

What will be required of me?

No experience is necessary, no targets are given. You will volunteer as part of a team of Event Coordinators and will be expected to have a thorough understanding about how the charity as well as a confidence to approach and talk to people

We estimate no more than 12 events will be required for you to attend each year and could be anywhere within the UK. Therefore a UK driving license and business cover is necessary if you are planning to drive to events.

How will Call4Backup support me?

Full training will be offered via an online elearning package via our own site, c4blearning.org. Your training can be completed on any mobile, tablet or computer with a web browser.

All expenses are paid agreement with the trustees prior to attending the event including;
• Fuel (standard flat rate per mile)
• Parking (upon production of receipt)
• Travel expenses, if own car not used
• Accommodation to be agreed before event.
