From 1st to 7th June 2018, the National Council of Voluntary Organisations has arranged #VolunteersWeek which is a great time for a charity like Call4Backup to thank the volunteers who make it run.
Our charity is run entirely by volunteers. Volunteers of the charity include out trustees, Support Agents, C4B Champions but we want to extend out thanks even further. We also want to thank our Fundraisers who take part in events all over the country in our name, those who ask people to donate time or money but also those who talk about our charity and mental health.
“Volunteers are always those who work inside our charity” Founder & Trustee, Rob Webber said. “As thankful as we are with the masses of hours of their lives they offer up we are as thankful to them as we are to the smaller gestures like those who volunteer a couple of seconds out of their day to say ‘Have you heard of Call4Backup?'”
“We are massively supportive of the #VolunteersWeek movement as a way of appreciating the work that is done all over the country by kind-hearted humans. We also Thank NCVO for arranging another successful #VolunteersWeek campaign”
“Call4Backup currently has around 30 volunteers in the charity who all work so hard in a variety of different roles. This year we wanted to extend out thanks beyond those employed as volunteers and make sure we thank all those who have ever assisted us in getting where we are today.”
The charity is always on the search for new knowledge and talent that can bring move the organisation forward so if you feel you have something to offer and want to join as a volunteer then please visit the Volunteer section fo the website to find out more.
