A Special Constable will be taking to the streets of London tomorrow, 28th May 2018, and will take part in the Vitality London 10K to raise money for our charity.
Dita, whose day job is a micro pub supervisor, has been massively supported by her employers who have assisted her in her fundraising ahead of tomorrow’s 10KM event around London’s most famous landmarks.
“Tasting ale for a living has its drawbacks whilst training!” Dita said. “my boss has been really fantastic, he arranged a raffle and a quiz night to help smash my £300 target and has happily had the charity collection box on the bar.”
“Training has been hard due to minor illness, injuries & general life getting in the way.”
Despite the comments about her training along the way, Dita is still hoping to complete the even in 50 minutes but has stated that for her anything under 55 minutes she will be happy with.
In order to support Dita you can donate to her fundraising page here and help her to smash further past her £300 target.
