North Yorks Special Runs 10 Mile Endurance For C4B
A Special Sergeant for North Yorkshire Police who volunteers as a Champion for the charity Call4Backup plans to run a 10 Mile Endurance Run for the Charity.
Nadine Slattery, who is well known in the twitter sphere as C4B Champion this year after a long running support for the charity and she has decided to take part in a 10 mile endurance run known as Paras10. This event sees participants run the 10 mile course whilst carrying a rucksack weighing 35lb.

"After giving birth to my second child in October 2018 it was important to get my fitness back quickly and I found my next challenge in Paras10." said Nadine "Training with young children hasn’t been easy but with the ongoing support from my Husband and immediate family I have been able to put in the hours and get the results."
"As a member of the Policing family since 2009 Call4Backup is a charity close to my heart. I have experienced challenging times, both as a dispatcher and as a Specials Sergeant. I believe that peer led support is really important and that’s why, alongside fundraising, I proudly became a C4B Champion earlier this year"
